"Ya'll got microspikes?"
One thing that we weren't prepared for were the snow drifts. At Glacier National Park, on the Grinnell Glacier Trail we ran into snow packs many feet deep that blocked the trail for fairly long stretches. More than once we were told by returning hikers that we'd need our micro spikes (We didn't have micro spikes). Unprepared as we were, we slipped and slid our way through the snow packs but still finished the hike strong.
My trip through the Northwest U.S. was an incredible experience. Outlined with a host of wild animals, wild scenery, and the best friends a guy could ask for. Check out the awesome stars, the surreal views, and the serene moments from our trip.
